Collaborative Classroom Therapy introduces the “in-class” speech-language service delivery model, provides rationale for working with children in a naturalistic, functional setting, and demonstrates evidence-based techniques to improve students’ speech-language and academic success.
This workshop focuses on evidenced-based questioning strategies designed to facilitate higher-level thinking and learning. Participants will develop and use these strategies in a hands-on format.
Vocabulary growth continues to be a significant need for students with speech-language impairments. This workshop provides evidence-based strategies for multi-modality vocabulary instruction.
Coarticulation is a method used to treat articulation or phonological disorders. Collecting baseline measures using context to choose target sounds, drill and practice, parallel transfer, probe targets, and carryover to spontaneous speech will be covered.
